Year after year I have used Lexington Betty for Thanksgiving family dinner, and its always a WINNER!! I appreciate the great customer service from Dominique and her team, this year we used her for Easter dinner as well, and again- it was DELISH.

Visited for the first time yesterday, this is the best bbq I have ever had and the customer service is exemplary. Tanisha is extremely friendly and a consummate professional. This place is a true example of how a business should be operated.

Just ordered and brought home Brisket, Pulled Pork, Rib Tips/ Brisket Chef Special with Macaroni and Cheese, Baked Beans, Candied Yams and Potato Salad ALL with sauce on the side. Oh my God this is now our Barbecue Spot. Brisket finger soft so was the Pulled Pork and Ribtips. Sides were just as amazing and the Girl taking my order was SO Pleasant. I was 1 of 5 placing orders all first timers. We have to Support restaurants like this to make sure they survive. It’s Toooo Goooood.

Best brisket and rib tips I have ever had.

I ate the turkey legs at a family event, they were excellent, tender, juicy and nicely seasoned. The mixed vegetables were wonderful too, the mushrooms were amazingly awesome if the turkey legs weren't so good I would have just eaten the mushrooms

I enjoyed all the sides but the greens steal the show. And the bbq sauce is just perfect. I honestly could just ho back for the seasoned fries and sauce lbvs. I think the prices are very reasonable for BBQ. Will return for sure

They catered for us and the food was delicious, both the pulled pork and the chicken were perfectly prepared. Their sauce was the cherry on the cake. I would definitely recommend them!

I love BBQ - and finding this little place in my neighborhood was such a treat. Weirdly enough for a BBQ lover, I am not a huge fan of BBQ sauce... so finding a dry rub place where sauce is not forced down my throat was just great. BTW - I tried the sauce and it was really good too, but the meat, oh, the meat! Treated respectfully, with just the right amount of seasoning, spices and salt. Melt in your mouth tender. Juicy. Perfection.

The sides were also very good and the portions larger than I expected. I want the recipe for that potato salad. The greens were to die for. I enjoyed everything down to the last piece.

Now I wanna go take a nap and go back for dinner. For real. That good.

It is too easy to miss Lexington Betty's on North Avenue-- busy traffic and a tree-lined street-- but make the extra effort to find it. You won't be disappointed.

Betty's is more than BBQ-- the meats are high quality and savory. You don't need the sauce-- it only masks the smokey flavor. The side dishes are meals that can stand alone. My personal fave is the potato salad, but my kids devour her Mac & cheese.

In my opinion, Betty's is in a class above. I hope she will stick around for the long haul.

Outstanding BBQ. I got the combo plate with Brisket and Rib Tips. Both were great and the brisket was outta this world! The sides were baked beans and candied yams that were outstanding. Highly recommend their offerings. We will be back!

SO FAR THE BEST BBQ IN CHICAGO PERIOD! Sides were delicious, dessert was delicious. My fave is the beef brisket!!!!!

Happy to have this restaurant in Galewood. Good food, love the greens. Mac and cheese solid. All the meats are terrific and the sauce is good too. Affordable for bbq.

This brisket is the bomb. Barbecue sauce is perfectly spicy and sweet. We will be back!!

First time having them they did a pop up in my building. I have say they had the best greens I ever had from a restaurant and the Mac and cheese was outstanding. I had the chicken and I cleaned the bone .. I can't wait for them to come back. Great food!!!

The food is so tasty it will make you want to smack somebody. The baked beans and brisket are a must try.

Boy am I glad they did! Usually it's tough to keep items from drying out when transporting and keeping warm on the burners, but the mac and cheese is creamy and oh so good!

Now let's move on to the greens - I adore greens and a lot of places simply do not give them the love they deserve! I'm pretty sure they were cooked with some smoked meat and red pepper flakes because, YUM!!!

(Notice I haven't even gotten to the meat yet?)

Been so busy nomming on the sides I've neglected the main attractions, but no more! The brisket is melt in you mouth tender, and they leave just enough of the fat cap on to be umptious but not greasy. Sigh.

The pulled pork - again tender and juicy. The surprise? Their BBQ sauce has a lot of flavor, not some run of the mill stuff out of a bottle. I would not be surprised to find it is scratch made.

So for pulling off the happy, tasty, filling lunch when traveling I give this place 5 stars. Hope to have them back soon!

They came into our office for Fooda and I'm so glad it was my cheat meal that day! I got the Betty Combo with the Brisket, Pulled Pork and two sides. Both the pulled pork and brisket were tender and juicy and melted in my mouth! You don't even need the BBQ sauce but it's definitely a great pairing with the meats. For sides I got the Mac and the greens. The Mac was cheesy and by no means dry I could use a little more gooey-ness but that's a preference. Each Mac is different but I still love them all. The greens were also well made but had a bit too much pepper for my taste. That didn't stop me from eating it though! Would love to check out the actual food truck in the summer! I highly suggest this restaurant and can't wait to have it again!
